CyberStamp
Club was launched in 2000 and soon received The Golden
Web Award - for Excellence in Web Design,
Content and Creativity - from the International Association of
Web Masters and Designers.
Thousands
of people around the world subscribed for free membership,
indicating a healthy interest in the hobby of virtual
philately.
Through
force of circumstance and illness the webmaster, yours truly,
was not able to fulfil the true potential of the site other
than to maintain it as an inspiration for stamp collectors in
cyberspace. Thus its web pages were filled with inovative and
entertaining content for others to emulate or improve upon. An
online source of reference.
Now
that the site has been completely overhauled it is considered
expedient to provide continuous access to some of the original
fun pages. After all, when a new difinitive issue arrives we
don't just throw the old stamps out. We collect them for
posterity. And they comprise our stamp heritage.
For
those who are new to this site (originally
www.cyberstamclub.com) you may find a trip down memory lane a
worthwhile and enjoyable experience.
